Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- mayonnaise - 1 pt
- head lettuce, shredded - 1 item
- chopped red onion - 1/2 c
- grated sharp Cheddar cheese - 3/4 c
- slices cooked crumbled bacon - 10 item
How to make overnight salad:
Place lettuce in serving bowl. Top with onion, then celery and then green pepper. Cover vegetable layers with mayonnaise. Sprinkle with sugar, cheese and then bacon. Cover tightly and refrigerate up to 24 hours. Makes about 8 salad servings or 4 entree servings.Recipe categories: Desserts, Salads, Gelatin.
