Ingredients/Components
- oleo - 2/3 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- white sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- flour - 2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
How to make overnight coffee cake:
Topping:1/2 c. brown sugar1/2 tsp. nutmeg1/2 c. chopped nuts Cream oleo and sugars together. Add eggs; beat well. Sift flour, soda, baking powder, salt and cinnamon; blend into cream mixture. Add buttermilk; stir only until blended. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.Topping: Mix together ingredients; sprinkle on top. Refrigerate overnight. Bake in the morning at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.
