  • sugar - 1/2 tsp
  • oil - 1/2 c
  • warm water - 1/2 c
  • dry yeast - 1 pkg
  • lukewarm water - 2 c
  • unbleached all-purpose flour

How to make overnight buns:

At 3 p.m.: Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water and add 1/2 teaspoon sugar. Add remaining ingredients and mix all together. Let rise until 10 p.m. Form into buns on kitchen table. Cover and leave overnight. Bake in the morning at 350° for 20 minutes.
