Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- shortening - 1 item
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- cut up frying chicken - 1 item
How to make oven-fried chicken:
Heat oven to 425°. Put shortening in pan and set in oven to melt. Mix flour, salt and pepper in paper bag. Shake 3 or 4 pieces of chicken at a time in bag and coat. Place chicken, skin side down in a single layer in hot shortening. Bake 30 minutes, then turn and bake another 30 minutes until tender.
