Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 8 c
• water - 1/4 c
• cider vinegar - 1 c
• ground cinnamon - 4 tsp
• large apples, quartered and cored - 40 item
• cinnamon stick 3-inches - 1 item

In large kettle, covered; simmer apples and water until tender. Press through sieve or food mill. Measure 1 gallon pulp; place in large roaster. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and bake at 400° for 3 hours, stirring occasionally, until thick. Remo
