Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- vegetable oil - 1/4 c
- onion, chopped - 1 c
- small jar pimentos - 1 item
- green pepper, chopped - 1 c
- celery, chopped - 1 c
- can water chestnuts - 1 item
- can French-style green beans - 1 item
- jar sliced mushrooms - 1 item
- can tiny green peas - 1 item
- apple vinegar - 1 c
- can Shoe Peg white corn - 1 item
How to make oriental salad:
Drain corn, beans and peas. Combine all vegetables. Heat vinegar, sugar and oil until sugar is dissolved. Cool. Pour liquid over vegetables. Cover container and refrigerate. Serve as salad or side vegetable.Recipe categories: Fruit, Salads, Side dish.
