Orange slice cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• eggs - 4 item
• chopped nuts - 2 c
• butter - 1 c
• soda - 1 tsp
• buttermilk - 1/2 c
• chopped dates - 1 lb
• plain flour
• can coconut - 1 item
• orange slice candy, cut into small pieces - 1 lb
• Add eggs one at a time, and beat well
• powdered sugar or brown sugar - 2 c

How to make orange slice cake:

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, and beat well. Dissolve soda in buttermilk. Add to creamed mixture. Place flour in large bowl, add dates, orange slices and nuts. Stir to coat each piece and add this mixture with coconut to creamed mixtu
