  • oil - 1/4 c
  • large eggs - 2 item
  • powdered sugar
  • honey - 1/4 c
  • orange juice - 1/2 c
  • yellow cake mix with pudding in the mix - 1 pkg
  • fresh fruit optional - 1 item

How to make orange honey cake:

Syrup:2 c. powdered sugar1/3 c. orange juice fresh fruit (optional) Heat oven to 350°. Generously grease and flour a 12-cup fluted tube pan. In large bowl, combine all cake ingredients at low speed until moistened; beat 2 minutes at highest speed. Pour batter into greased and floured pan. Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Meanwhile, in small saucepan, combine powdered sugar and 1/3 cup orange juice; bring to boil. Using long-tined fork, pierce hot cake in pan at 1/2-inch intervals. Immediately pour half of hot syrup over cake. Cool cake upright in pan 5 minutes; invert onto serving plate. Spoon remaining warm syrup over cake. Cool completely. Garnish with fresh fruit. Makes 16 servings.
