- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- butter or margarine - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- cornstarch - 1 tsp
- ground ginger - 1/4 tsp
- orange juice - 1/4 c

How to make orange glazed carrots:
Cook carrots and drain. In a small sauce pan combine sugar, cornstarch, salt and ginger. Add orange juice. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 1-2 minutes more. Stir in butter. Pour over hot carrots; stirring lightly to coat. Yield: 4-6 servings.Microwave directions: In a 1 1/2 quart bowl combine carrots with 2 Tbsp. water. Cook on high power 8-9 minutes or until tender; stirring once. Drain. In a 1 c. measurer combine sugar, cornstarch, salt and ginger. Stir in orange juice. Cook on high power, uncovered, 1 minute; stirring once. Stir in butter until melted. Pour sauce over carrots stirring lightly to coat.
