Ingredients/Components
- flour - 2 c
- sugar
- eggs - 2 item
- soda - 2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- can fruit cocktail #303 size - 1 item
- Then pour the whole can of fruit in; removing the grapes
- coconut - 1 c
- margarine 1/2 c - 1/4 lb
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
How to make fruit cocktail cake:
Mix all dry ingredients together. Then pour the whole can of fruit in; removing the grapes. Beat eggs and add to mix. Pour in a well-greased pan. Place 1/2 c. brown sugar and 1/2 c. chopped nuts on the batter before putting in oven. Bake at 325° for 25 to 30 minutes.FROSTING:2/3 c. canned milk3/4 c. sugar1 c. coconut1/4 lb. margarine (1/2 c.)1/2 tsp. vanilla Mix all ingredients and cook in saucepan until it reaches a boil.
