Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- pkg - 1 oz
- cooking oil - 2/3 c
- warm water - 2/3 c
- orange juice - 1/2 c
- almond flavoring - 1 tsp
- coconut flavoring - 1 tsp
- frozen coconut - 1/2 c
- box Duncan Hines orange cake mix - 1 item
- Add cake mix and flavorings
How to make orange coconut pound cake:
Dissolve Jell-O in warm water; add oil to mixture. Add cake mix and flavorings. Add eggs, mixing after each egg. Add coconut. Pour in tube or Bundt pan and bake at 300° for 45 to 60 minutes. Test for doneness with toothpick.Glaze:1 c. sugar1/2 c. orange juice1/2 c. frozen coconut Boil ingredients slowly to dissolve sugar. Invert cake after about 10 minutes and punch holes with fork. Pour glaze over warm cake.Note: Let glaze thicken slightly before pouring.
