  • brown sugar
  • butter - 1 Tbsp
  • cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
  • cider vinegar - 3/4 c
  • small can frozen orange juice - 1 item
  • juice can water - 1 item
  • 2 1/2 can whole small beets

How to make orange beets:

Moisten cornstarch with 1/2 of the water to make a smooth paste; set aside. Mix the juice, remaining water, vinegar and brown sugar in a saucepan. Heat to boiling and add the cornstarch mixture. Stir to prevent lumping, cooking until clear and thickened. Add butter and beets. Cook on low until beets are heated through and serve.
