Ingredients/Components
- butter or oleo - 2 Tbsp
- chicken broth - 4 c
- beaten egg yolks - 2 item
- cream or milk - 1 c
- medium size onions - 2 item
How to make onion soup:
Brown the onions in the butter or oleo. Add the chicken broth. Let simmer 20 minutes. Combine the egg yolks with the cream or milk. Pour hot liquid slowly into eggs and cream mixture. Stir continually. Salt to taste and serve hot.Recipe categories: Low protein, Low cholesterol, Soups & stews.
