  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • soda
  • plain flour - 2 qt
  • whole eggs - 3 item
  • small tea cup of shortening - 1 item

How to make old fashioned tea cakes:

Mix all ingredients well. Roll out dough 1/2-inch thick. Cut any shape you desire. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
