Oatmeal waffles
Ingredients/Components
- milk
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- baking powder - 1 Tbsp
- all-purpose flour
- margarine, melted - 6 Tbsp
- vanilla yogurt optional - 1 item
- cinnamon, ground - 1/2 tsp
- fruit optional - 1 item
- oats, rolled raw - 1 c
How to make oatmeal waffles:
In a large mixing bowl, stir together flour, oats, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. In a small bowl, stir together eggs, milk, margarine (or butter) and brown sugar. Add flour mixture and stir until blended. Pour batter into grids of preheated, lightly greased waffle baker. Close lid quickly; do not open during baking. Use fork to remove baked waffle. Top with fruit and yogurt. Serving Size: 12. Preparation Time: 0:20.Note: One waffle is 1 serving size.
