Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- granulated sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1 c
- nuts - 1/4 c
- beaten eggs - 2 item
- oats - 3 c
How to make oatmeal crisps:
Cream shortening and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Add all ingredients, but nuts and oats; beat well. Add nuts and oats. Form in rolls and chill at least 45 minutes in refrigerator. Slice 1/8 to 1/4-inch thick and bake on ungreased sheet at 350° for 10 minutes. Makes 5 dozen.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Egg Free.
