Ingredients/Components

  • sticks margarine - 2 item
  • white sugar - 1 c
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • plain flour
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • oats quick - 3 c
  • nuts optional - 1/2 c
  • raisins - 1 c

How to make oatmeal cookies:

Cream margarine and sugar. Add eggs. Mix and stir in dry ingredients and raisins. Drop by spoon onto cookie sheet or roll into 4 logs. Chill and slice. Bake 9 to 10 minutes at 325° on greased pan. I steam the raisins for a few minutes.
