Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • flour
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • chocolate chips
  • raisins - 1 c
  • oleo - 1/2 c
  • quick oatmeal - 1 c

How to make oatmeal cookies:

Place raisins in pan with enough water to cover. Cook 5 minutes. Take 5 tablespoons of raisin water and add the 1 level teaspoon of soda and set aside to cool. Throw remaining raisin water away.

Mix remaining ingredients with raisin water and soda mixture. Drop with teaspoon onto cookie sheet (greased) and bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes.
