Oatmeal chocolate chip cookies
Ingredients/Components
- softened butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- light brown sugar - 1 c
- sugar - 1/2 c
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- all-purpose flour
- raw oats Quaker 1 Minute
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
How to make oatmeal chocolate chip cookies:
Cream together butter, shortening, eggs, vanilla and sugars until fluffy. Next, add flour, oats, salt and baking soda. Batter will become very stiff. Add milk chocolate chips.Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes. If you want chewy cookies, remove from the oven, even if they look a little anemic.
Do not grease cookie sheet and do not attempt to shape cookie dough once you have dropped it on the sheet.
