Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• cinnamon - 1 Tbsp
• eggs - 2 item
• milk - 1/2 c
• flour
• brown sugar - 1 c
• vanilla flavoring - 1 Tbsp
• coconut - 1 c
• boiling water
• nuts - 1 c
• stick butter - 1 item
• oats - 1 c
• Let stand for 20 minutes

How to make oatmeal cake:

Mix boiling water, butter and oats. Let stand for 20 minutes. Then add sugar, brown sugar, eggs, flour and cinnamon. Bake at 325° for 35 minutes in long cake pan.Icing for Oatmeal Cake:3/4 c. sugar1/2 stick butter1/2 c. milk1 Tbsp. vanilla flavoring1 c. nuts1 c. coconut Cook sugar, butter and milk for 2 minutes. Add vanilla flavoring, nuts and coconut, then cook 1 minute longer and pour over cake.
