- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 Tbsp
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1/2 c
- flour
- brown sugar - 1 c
- vanilla flavoring - 1 Tbsp
- coconut - 1 c
- boiling water
- nuts - 1 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- oats - 1 c
- Let stand for 20 minutes
How to make oatmeal cake:
Mix boiling water, butter and oats. Let stand for 20 minutes. Then add sugar, brown sugar, eggs, flour and cinnamon. Bake at 325° for 35 minutes in long cake pan.Icing for Oatmeal Cake:3/4 c. sugar1/2 stick butter1/2 c. milk1 Tbsp. vanilla flavoring1 c. nuts1 c. coconut Cook sugar, butter and milk for 2 minutes.
