Ingredients/Components
- oat bran - 1 c
- chopped dates - 1 c
- nonfat powdered milk - 1/3 c
- molasses - 1/2 c
- hot water - 3/4 c
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- egg substitute - 1/4 c
- flour - 1/2 c
- whole-wheat flour - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 1 Tbsp
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- ground ginger - 1/2 tsp
- ground cardamom - 1/4 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
How to make oat bran date bread:
Mix oat bran, dates, dry milk, molasses, hot water, butter and egg substitute in large bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients. Spread 9 x 5 x 3-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.
