Ingredients/Components

  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • butter - 1 c
  • confectioners sugar - 2/3 c
  • ground pecans - 1 c

How to make nutty fingers:

Cream butter. Add sugar and blend until light and fluffy. Add flour, salt, pecans and vanilla. Mix well. Chill dough. To shape cookies, take a teaspoon of dough and roll to finger shape. Bake on greased cookie sheet at 325° for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and roll in confectioners sugar before cooling. Roll again when cooled. Yield: 4 dozen.
