- brown sugar - 1 c
- evaporated milk - 10 Tbsp
- coconut - 1 c
- nuts
- molasses - 1 c
- cream of tartar - 1/2 tsp
- oleo - 1/2 c
- Add egg
- sour milk 1 c - 1 c
- egg whole - 1 item
How to make nut cake:
Cream brown sugar and oleo. Add egg. Add molasses. Alternate flour, cream of tartar and sour milk. Bake at 375° about 30 minutes in 9 x 13-inch pan.Topping:1 c. brown sugar1/4 lb. oleo10 Tbsp. evaporated milk1 c. coconut1 1/2 c. nuts Heat first 3 ingredients to boiling point. Add coconut and nuts.
