Never fail dumplings
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- water - 5 Tbsp
- shortening - 3 Tbsp
- egg, well beaten - 1 item
How to make never fail dumplings:
Mix flour, salt and shortening. Add water and egg, making soft dough. Divide into two parts. Roll out into very thin sheets and let dry for 15 minutes. Cut into small strips and drop in boiling broth. Cook until tender.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Main dish, Stew.
