Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- garlic salt - 1/8 tsp
- onion - 1 item
- ham hock - 1 item
- small navy beans - 1 lb
How to make navy beans:
Wash beans and pick dirt or rocks out. Place beans in cooker or bean pot in water to cover. Cook slowly. Add ham hock, onion (cut up), garlic, salt and pepper. Cook until beans are soft. Be sure to keep water in pot. Serve with corn bread.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Soups & stews, Beans.
