Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 4 c
- flour - 1 c
- dry mustard - 2 Tbsp
- celery seed - 2 tsp
- onions, sliced
- turmeric - 2 tsp
- red peppers, chopped - 2 item
- green tomatoes, cut in pieces - 3 qt
- cukes, cut in pieces
- cauliflower, broken in pieces - 2 qt
- 1/2 quarts vinegar - 1 item
How to make mustard pickles:
Cook cucumbers, onions, cauliflower, green tomatoes and red peppers in salted water until tender, not mushy. Drain and cover until the following mixture is ready.Mix remaining dry ingredients; add vinegar slowly and cook until smooth and creamy. Pour over cooked vegetables and stir well. Can hot and seal.
