Mushroom barley soup
Ingredients/Components
- water - 2 c
- vegetable oil - 1 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- bay leaf - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1/2 c
- chopped parsley - 1/2 c
- sliced mushrooms
- barley - 1/2 c
- thyme - 1/4 tsp
- rosemary - 1/4 tsp
- can beef broth - 1 3/4
How to make mushroom barley soup:
Over medium heat, saute onion in oil until soft. Add mushrooms; cook about 4 minutes until tender. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low.
