Mulled cider
Ingredients/Components
- packed light brown sugar - 1/4 c
- bay leaves - 2 item
- whole cloves - 1/2 tsp
- cinnamon sticks - 2 item
- ground cardamom - 1/2 tsp
- grated nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- fresh apple cider - 2 qt
- peel of 1 orange or lemon
How to make mulled cider:
Combine all of the ingredients in a large pan. Bring to a boil, then simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes. Strain spices from mixture and discard. Return cider to pan and keep warm until ready to serve. (I use crock-pot to keep warm.)Recipe categories: Fruit, Apple, Drinks.
