Molasses crumb cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 4 c
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- hot water - 2 c
- margarine 1 c - 1/2 lb
- molasses light - 1 c
How to make molasses crumb cake:
Combine first 4 ingredients into crumbs. Set aside 1 1/2 to 2 cups of crumbs for topping. Into the rest of the crumbs, add remaining ingredients. Blend with spatula and pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle crumbs on top. Bake in a 350° oven for approximately 45 to 55 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Coffee cakes, Pennsylvania dutch.
