Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 4 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- boiling water - 2 c
- molasses - 1 c
- margarine 2 sticks - 1 c
How to make molasses crumb cake:
Reserve 1-1/2 c. crumbs; add liquid and mix into crumbs. Batter will be lumpy. Pour into greased and floured baking pan. Sprinkle with crumbs. Bake at 350° until cake tests done. Approximately 40 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Coffee cakes, Pennsylvania dutch.
