  • sugar
  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 4 c
  • soda - 4 tsp
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • molasses - 1 c
  • ginger - 1 tsp
  • Crisco - 1 c

How to make molasses cookies:

Cream sugar and Crisco; add eggs and molasses. Sift flour with spices; add to sugar mixture. Take spoonfuls and put butter on it; dip in sugar to press cookie. Put dab of jelly in center and bake for 8 minutes at 375°.
