Oatmeal chip cookies

Ingredients/Components

• cinnamon
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• granulated sugar - 1 c
• salt - 1 tsp
• brown sugar - 1 c
• baking soda - 1 tsp
• chocolate chips - 3/4 c
• shortening - 1 c
• sifted all-purpose flour
• quick cooking oats
• well beaten eggs - 2 item

How to make oatmeal chip cookies:

Cream shortening and sugars until soft. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Combine flour with salt, soda and cinnamon. Add to creamed mixture, mixing well. Add oats and chocolate chips. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350
