Molasses cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• flour - 2 c
• soda - 2 tsp
• egg - 1 item
• shortening - 3/4 c
• molasses - 1/4 c
• ginger - 1 Tbsp

How to make molasses cookies:

Combine first 3 ingredients with sugar in bowl, mixing well. Blend in rest of ingredients. Shape into small balls; roll in sugar. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
