Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 item
  • cup sugar - 1 item
  • skinless haddock or cod - 1 item
  • dash of pepper & paprika - 1 item

How to make mock lobster:

Thaw- have a large pan of water boiling with about 1 cup sugar (1/2 cup sugar/lb. fish).

Put fish in water (whole piece). Boil for 1 minute. Leave it in water off stove for 5 minutes or so. Lift out and place on broiler rack. Baste with melted butter, salt, dash of pepper & paprika. Broil until lightly brown. Dip while eating in drawn butter.
