Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- flour
- butter - 1 c
- cocoa - 1/3 c
- eggs, beaten - 4 item
- stick butter - 1 item
- box confectioners sugar - 1 item
How to make mississippi mud cake:
Chocolate Icing:4 Tbsp. cocoa6 Tbsp. milk1 stick butter1 box confectioners sugar1 c. chopped pecans1 tsp. vanilla Cream the butter. Mix sugar and cocoa. Add to butter. Blend in beaten eggs. Add flour, stirring until well mixed. Add pecans and vanilla. Bake in greased long pan at 300° for 30 minutes or until done.Icing: Mix all ingredients except vanilla, pecans and confectioners sugar. Put in pan and heat until butter has melted. Pour over box of confectioners sugar. Add pecans and vanilla; mix well. Pour over hot cake. Icing thickens as it cools.
