Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/4 c
- flour - 3/4 c
- coconut
- cocoa - 1/3 c
- nuts
- powdered sugar - 2 c
- margarine
- marshmallow cream - 7 oz
How to make mississippi mud cake:
Frosting:1/2 c. margarine1/4 c. milk1/3 c. cocoa2 c. powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla Cake: Mix sugar, margarine, vanilla and cocoa. Beat in eggs. Mix together flour, coconut and nuts. Put in greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° about 40 minutes. Allow to cool. Spread with marshmallow cream.Frosting: In pan, heat margarine, milk and cocoa to boiling, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add the powdered sugar and vanilla. Beat well and spread on top of marshmallow layer.
