Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts
- flour
- evaporated milk - 1/2 c
- coconut
- cocoa - 3 Tbsp
- sticks oleo - 2 item
- stick oleo - 1 item
- Mix well
How to make mississippi mud cake:
Cream butter, sugar and cocoa, then add eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Add flour, coconut and nuts; beat 2 minutes. Bake in a 10 x 15-inch pan at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes. When done, spread with 1 large jar of marshmallow cream on warm cake. Cool well. Frost with the following frosting.Frosting:1 lb. confectioners sugar1 stick oleo1/2 c. cocoa1/2 c. evaporated milk1 tsp. vanilla Beat until smooth; spread on cool cake.Recipe categories: Desserts, Chocolate, Cakes.
