Ingredients/Components

  • pkg - 1 oz
  • flour - 1 c
  • powdered sugar - 1 c
  • Cool Whip - 8 oz
  • cold milk - 3 c
  • peanut butter - 1/3 c
  • cream cheese, softened - 8 oz
  • stick melted oleo - 1 item
  • walnuts, finely chopped - 2/3 c

How to make mississippi mud:

Mix together walnuts, flour and oleo. Pat into 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Cool.

Cream together peanut butter and cream cheese. Add powdered sugar. Fold in 8 ounces Cool Whip. Spread on crust and refrigerate 15 minutes.

Mix both puddings and milk. Beat well and spread on cake. Refrigerate 15 minutes. Add rest of Cool Whip. Shave Hershey bar on top if desired.
