Million dollar cookies

Ingredients/Components

• vanilla - 1 tsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• chopped nuts - 1/2 c
• flour - 2 c
• brown sugar - 1/2 c
• soda - 1/2 tsp
• egg - 1 item
• shortening - 1 c
• white sugar - 1/2 c

How to make million dollar cookies:

Mix shortening and sugar well. Add egg and vanilla; beat. Mix flour, salt and soda together. Add to shortening mixture. Add nuts; mix well. Shape into small balls; roll in sugar. Press flat with glass or press. Bake for about 10 minutes in 350° to 375° oven.
