  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • flour - 2 c
  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • soda - 1/2 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • shortening - 1 c
  • white sugar - 1/2 c

How to make million dollar cookies:

Cream shortening and sugars; add egg and vanilla. Sift and add dry ingredients. Then add nuts, finely chopped. Form into balls and roll in sugar. Press flat with bottom of a glass. Bake at 375° for 10 minutes.
