Mexican salad
Ingredients/Components
- ground beef - 1 lb
- chopped onion - 1/2 item
- kidney beans, drained - 2 c
- French dressing - 1/2 c
- water - 1/2 c
- chili powder - 1 Tbsp
- shredded lettuce - 4 c
- sliced green onions - 1/2 c
- shredded sharp Cheddar cheese - 2 c
- avocado, chopped - 1 item
How to make mexican salad:
Brown ground beef and onion. Stir in beans, dressing, water and chili powder. Simmer for 15 minutes. Add other ingredients and 1/2 cup cheese. Toss lightly. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Serve with crisp tortillas if desired. Add avocado last.Recipe categories: Salads, Main dish, One Dish meal.
