Mexican delight
Ingredients/Components
- Velveeta cheese - 8 oz
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- grated cheese - 1/2 lb
- ground beef - 1 lb
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- Monterey Jack cheese - 8 oz
- can enchilada sauce - 1 item
- taco seasoning to taste - 1 2
- corn tortilla shells soft, cut in half - 1 2
How to make mexican delight:
Brown meat and onion; drain off fat. Add taco seasoning and enough water to moisten mixture. Mix soups and sauce together. Melt Monterey Jack cheese and Velveeta cheese together. In a 9 x 12-inch pan, layer as follows: 1/2 meat mixture, 1/2 tortilla shells, 1/2 soup and sauce mixture and 1/2 melted cheese. Repeat layers and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until cheese browns.Recipe categories: Main dish, Beef, One Dish meal.
