cinnamon - 1 tsp
chopped pecans - 1 c
milk - 1/2 c
brown sugar - 1 c
butter - 1 lb
soda - 1 tsp
chopped dates - 2 c
pinch of salt - 1 item
plain flour - 3 c
well beaten eggs - 3 item
chopped, candied cherries - 2 c
slices chopped, candied pineapple - 6 item

How to make merry christmas cookies:

Mix sugar, eggs, milk and butter. Add the sifted flour, soda and cinnamon, a little at a time. Stir in dates, fruit and pecans. Drop by teaspoonful on cookie sheet. Bake at 300° for 20 minutes. Makes 200 cookies.
