Ingredients/Components

• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• milk - 1/4 c
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• flour
• brown sugar - 1 c
• butter - 1/2 c
• coconut - 1 c
• soda - 1 tsp
• boiling water
• white sugar - 1 c
• quick oats - 1 c
• well beaten eggs - 2 item
• Cream the next 3 ingredients together

How to make coconut oatmeal cake:

Let oats and boiling water stand 20 minutes. Cream the next 3 ingredients together. Add eggs and vanilla. Add to oat mixture. Sift remaining ingredients together and add to mixture. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.Topping:2/3 stick melted butter1/2 c. brown sugar1/4 c. milk1/2 tsp. vanilla1 c. coconut Put on cake as soon as cake is done.
