Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar - 1 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- coconut - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- boiling water
- white sugar - 1 c
- quick oats - 1 c
- well beaten eggs - 2 item
- Cream the next 3 ingredients together
How to make coconut oatmeal cake:
Let oats and boiling water stand 20 minutes. Cream the next 3 ingredients together. Add eggs and vanilla. Add to oat mixture. Sift remaining ingredients together and add to mixture. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.Topping:2/3 stick melted butter1/2 c. brown sugar1/4 c. milk1/2 tsp. vanilla1 c. coconut Put on cake as soon as cake is done.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Coconut.
