Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- hot water - 1 qt
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chili powder - 2 tsp
- hamburger - 1 lb
- tomato juice - 1 qt
- uncooked rice - 1 c
- ground pork - 1/2 lb
How to make meat balls:
Put tomato juice and water in large pan and bring to boil; keep boiling.Mix all ingredients well. Form into balls (size of walnut). Drop into boiling liquid. Turn heat down. Cover and cook very slowly, about 1 1/2 hours.
Use sauce to season spaghetti. This was Sunday dinner most of the time.
