Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- water - 3 qt
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- cayenne pepper - 1/8 tsp
- can tomatoes - 1 lb
- to 8 strips bacon - 6 item
- large stalks celery, chopped - 2 item
- beef shin bone - 1 lb
- frozen mixed soup vegetables with okra - 1 pkg
- crab meat or 6 to 8 cooked and steamed crabs pick center part and throw in claws - 1 lb
How to make maryland crab soup:
Brown beef in soup pot with bacon strips. Add other ingredients, except frozen vegetables and crab meat. Cook 3 hours or until meat is tender. Add rest of ingredients and simmer covered until vegetables are done.
