Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- water - 2 c
- bay leaf - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- olive oil - 2 Tbsp
- garlic cloves, minced - 2 item
- medium onion, minced - 1 item
- #1 12 oz
- pinch of ground basil - 1 item
How to make marinara sauce:
Brown onion and garlic lightly in oil in saucepan. Add meat and cook until brown, stirring with fork. Add remaining ingredients and simmer uncovered 1 1/2 hours.Great sauce for pasta, lasagna or spaghetti.
