Ingredients/Components
- large green mangos - 10 item
- sugar - 2 lb
- dates - 1/4 lb
- preserved ginger - 1/4 lb
- sultanas - 1/4 lb
- chilies - 6 item
- garlic - 1 oz
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- bottle vinegar - 3/4 item
How to make mango chutney:
Peel and slice mangos. Salt and cover with water overnight. Strain and wash. Boil all ingredients (except sugar) until tender. Add sugar and simmer another 2 hours. Bottle and seal.Recipe categories: Sauces, Condiments, etc., Chutneys.
