  • pkg - 1 oz
  • salt - 1 item
  • flour - 1/2 tsp
  • egg, beaten - 1 item
  • can water - 1/2 item
  • can evaporated milk - 1 item
  • stick oleo - 1 item
  • medium sharp Cheddar cheese - 1 lb

How to make macaroni and cheese:

Boil macaroni in 1 teaspoon salted water; when tender, pour off water. While hot, add oleo and cheese; stir, cover and let oleo and cheese melt.

Beat egg, salt, flour and milk; pour into macaroni, cheese and oleo mixture. Mix well and add rest of milk and water. Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Save some cheese to place on top. Bake at 350° for about 1 hour or until bubbly.
