Low-fat vegetable soup
Ingredients/Components
- water - 2 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- diced onion - 1 c
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- shredded cabbage - 1 c
- parsley leaves, chopped - 2 tsp
- frozen vegetables regular or fiesta - 1/2 pkg
- stewed tomatoes 20 oz - 1 qt
- celery, chopped or sliced thin - 1 item
How to make low-fat vegetable soup:
Stir onion, cabbage and celery in water. Simmer until tender. Add rest of the ingredients and simmer. Serve the next day. (One pound of ground turkey may be added.)Recipe categories: Low protein, Vegetables, Soups & stews.
